My Story

My name is Maria Webb and I am a portrait photographer based out of Charlottesville, Virginia. My grandfather was a photography enthusiast and passed down his love for it to me.

I began pursuing photography in 2009, when I was around thirteen years old. I started off photographing basketball games, parties, and family outings. And although my photography journey began as a way to be navigate social events without having to fear my own awkwardness, as time went on and I began to grow in my craft, I realized that I wanted to pursue photography professionally.

Now, several years later, I am realizing that dream of capturing moments for a living. The world and its inhabitants are so beautiful and unique. With every picture I attempt to amplify that beauty and capture the spirit and essence of every subject. Whether its you, your family, your pet, a grand occasion, or that special place you never want to forget, it is a joy and privilege to play a small part in capturing your story.
